Overview

Since 1977, Sojourner Center has been a safe haven from domestic violence for women and their children in Arizona. Since our founding, we have transformed lives by providing shelter and support services to more than 60,000 adults and children affected by domestic violence. We provide a broad spectrum of services to victims of domestic violence, while working with professionals in the field on education, research and advocacy with the goal of ending domestic violence.

 

Job Summary: The Data Quality & Compliance Manager will ensure that every piece of data translates into actionable insights, supporting the Sojourner Center's mission to break the cycle of domestic violence and uplift survivors toward brighter futures. The Data Quality and Compliance Manager oversees Sojourner Center's case manager data system and ensures data integrity, compliance with grant and funding requirements, and adherence to agency policies.

 

Schedule: Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm

 

Rate of Pay: $50,000.00/Annually

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary administrator of the Apricot case management software, managing system updates, configurations, and user permissions.
  • Conduct routine maintenance, audits, and troubleshooting of the database, collaborating with the software’s support team as necessary.
  • Develop and implement data protocols and best practices to ensure confidentiality, compliance, and security of survivor data.
  • Create, update, and manage custom forms and reports to track program outcomes, performance metrics, and service delivery.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data entry in Apricot for reporting and funding purposes.
  • Oversee all reporting for grants and contracts, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal government contracts, as well as private funding requirements.
  • Support billing processes for various contracts and provide technical assistance to resolve compliance concerns.
  • Develop training materials, user guides, and lead monthly discussions on data trends to management to support staff proficiency and performance improvements.
  • Maintain policy and procedure manual, participant forms, and shared documents to ensure alignment with current practices, regulations, and program needs.
  • Monitor and enhance the organization’s use of data for decision-making and recommend tools to track and measure goals effectively.
  • Supervise the storage, retrieval, and maintenance of case files and records, conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Collaborate with leadership, program managers, and external organizations to analyze data, identify trends, and develop strategies for improving service delivery.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for database-related inquiries and technical assistance.
  • Compile and analyze internal data to complete Director's Report by designated due date each month.
  • Provides all completed reports to the Executive Leadership Team for review by the designated due date each month.
  • Supervises the Compliance Coordinator within the Quality Assurance Department.

Qualifications

  • At least three years’ experience in database management, data quality assurance, and compliance, preferably in a nonprofit or social service setting.
  • One year experience in a supervisory position required.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Valid Arizona Driver License, proof of automobile insurance and Motor Vehicle Record acceptable to Sojourner Center’s insurance company.
  • At least 21 years of age; ability to obtain a Level I Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Physical Factors/Working Conditions

  • Ability to work in an office setting.
  • Requires the use of a computer and other standard office equipment.
  • Some travel between work locations may be required.
