Since 1977, Sojourner Center has been a safe haven from domestic violence for women and their children in Arizona. Since our founding, we have transformed lives by providing shelter and support services to more than 60,000 adults and children affected by domestic violence. We provide a broad spectrum of services to victims of domestic violence, while working with professionals in the field on education, research and advocacy with the goal of ending domestic violence.
Job Summary:
In support of the Sojourner Center mission, the Shelter Crisis Coordinator provides support and resources for individuals and families with a focus on addressing trauma related to domestic violence through case management, support groups and safety planning within the framework of a variety of programs. This position will supervise the overnight Advocates/Case Managers. They will be responsible for the flow of the overnight shift and hold rotating on-call responsibilities. Coordinates with the Crisis Shelter Program Manager to ensure appropriate services are being provided and management is well informed.
Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday: 10:30pm – 7:30am
Rate of Pay: $22.00/hr. ($23.10/hour after passed bilingual assessment)
